Looks like CAL should get home field advantage for the playoffs - do your kids a favor and buy some turf cleats or wear tennis shoes. Their turf is extremely slick and almost impossible for skill or edge rushers to cut in cleats. I heard they are replacing it soon but until then you have been warned. Nike makes some good ones called Huarache (Lacrosse)  and Vapor Untouchable Turf 2. You better order now and not wait till the week before.

Truth.  My lacrosse teams play on this field often and it's slick as snot.

I thought is was different/better this year. I asked if there had been new turf installed. I believe they said they had added crumb rubber. But, it was different/better than 2019.
