The Rams welcome in the undefeated 6-0 Betsy Layne Bobcats for a district matchup. The Rams sit at 5-1 on the season with its lone loss to cross town rival Russell. Betsy Laynes best win on the season was against Martin County the first game of the season were they won 26-25. Betsy Layne will get to see where they actually stand these next two weeks as they have Paintsville the week after this one. The Rams get there matchup with Paintsville the week after.

Who wins this district matchup? Does the Rams send Betsy Layne packing? Does Betsy Layne pull a huge upset?

Betsy Layne's unbeaten season has been a great story so far, but I'm afraid it's about take a hard left turn the next two games.

I think Raceland wins big behind a defense that's been firmly in control of its opposition the last few weeks. And Logan Lundy is starting to pick it up, which is cause for concern for everyone left on Raceland's schedule.

It looked like Raceland might cruise to a win early. I'm impressed with the way BL has battled back. Win or lose, they're heading in a positive direction as a program. 

Raceland beat BL by a combined score of 144-0 in two games in 2019. Last year was a covid casualty.
