Not a good look, but no chance it's the end of the coaching road if he doesn't want it to be. People are in crappy situations they have to escape all the time. No different than a teacher leaving mid-year. It'll maybe be a blackeye while looking for the very next job, but won't be the end of the road.

Or maybe a Thoroughbred? Who knows for sure. He has some strong ties in many places.

If he wants to coach, he will find a place to coach. Coaches are hard to come by nowadays.
