While DeSales only returns 3 starters on each side of the ball, Central Hardin has yet to find themselves thru 7vs7s and 2 scrimmages against Daviess County and South Warren. Central Hardin starts a new varsity QB in Zach Spurrier. While he has some skill, it will take awhile to get the timing down with his receivers ands backs as he is coming back from a summer of AAU baseball. Overall, he is significantly better than Braydon Robbins, last years QB. With 9 returning defensive starters and a line anchored by Adam Hobbs at DE and his twin brother Andrew Hobbs,  DL, Central Hardin appears to have all the ingredients for a strong defense. The offense also has some experience in the backfield in RB Trayvon Williams, and wingback Terry Brooks. Central appears to be 1 year away from returning to prominence in 6A district 2. With that being said, can Central Hardin's size up front control the offensive line of scrimmage? Can they get a push on the defensive front and pressure the QB? I think Central Hardin does just enough in this game.

I think this will be competitive game but will take DeSales for the win.

With the talent in Hardin County, expect things to pick back up for the Bruins sooner, rather than later after a one win season last year. 

I'm eager to see DeSales after the 11th hour resignation of Coach Davis, plus all that the Colts have to replace from a year ago. I don't expect them to drop off a cliff, but there are question marks swirling around this team.
