Gallatin Co.70 Louisville Collegiate 48

Featured Replies

Gallatin looked really good in this game, still had to many turnovers but they got the job done. Lets hope they keep it rolling into tonight against Anderson.

How many did Edmonson get? How is he gelling with the other guys?

I believe he had 14 or so. Gallatin usually has very balanced scoring. He is starting to look more comfortable with his surroundings.

Lets hope this is the continuation of what will be a long winning streak for the Cats.

Shouldnt be that hard when you play teams like this. Wait until Gallatin plays someone good or do they?

Gallatin defeated Anderson Co. last night and will play Dixie Heights(which Anderson defeated easily) tonight, both of which are quality opponents. Next week Gallatin travels to Phoenix, AZ to play in a tournament. Also on their schedule: Shelby Co., Ryle, Oldham Co., and South Oldham. That is probably the toughest schedule of any "A" team in the 8th region. And i mean no disrespect to the other "A" schools. I am sure Coach Jones would just love to hear your suggestions regarding scheduling.

Wow, is all I have to say, because I don't want to get banned for reacting to really uneducated posts. :madman:

Uneducated? I can look at their schedule just as you can. There are three teams maybe four that I would say are quality. Shelby, Oldham, S. Oldham and maybe Dixie Heights. So please tell me your educated opinion...

They did skip on SK I would of liked to see that match up, and you can't put ryle as a good team because they just are not this year.

They did not "skip" SK. I heard from a very reliable source that both schools wanted to play , but weren't able to work out the scheduling. You have got to realize that both teams have to play their conference and district opponents twice. And unfortunately for SK, their district opponents( Grant Co., Walton-Verona,and Williamstown) are not in their conference. Gallatin competes in the All "A" . You are allowed to play so many games as mandated by the KHSAA. That leaves very little room for out of conference and out of district scheduling. Hopefully, Gallatin will advance to the 8TH Region tournament again this season and possibly play SK. Me being a Gallatin fan, i would like to see how they stack up against SK .

Anderson?Dixie? 3 straight state champs in pheonix? Dare I say anymore, though almighty?

:fight: Oh I forgot? You live north of Verona, You know more about basketball than I do.:fire:

I think Spilly is upset that SK pummeled his beloved Bearcats. Take heart though Spilly, SK only beat you by 20 or so....
