December 22, 200619 yr This team will lose in the second round and most likely first round if they dont get a top 3 seed. Paulus had a career game last night and they won by 7. When it comes down to crunch time you will see him crumble.:thumb:
December 22, 200619 yr Georgetown last season, and Texas, were on the road...GU won, Duke won the other... This Gonzaga game is technically a road game...but is more neutral than anything else....for those that care, I think this is a big problem with Duke's success lately, they need some more serious ROAD exposure to get ready for March (now, this is only my opinion), how can you argue with a coach that has been to the Final Four almost 50% of his career? Did they play Texas in Austin? How many years has Coach K been there and how many final fours has he been to? Are you sure it is almost 50%?
December 22, 200619 yr Did they play Texas in Austin? How many years has Coach K been there and how many final fours has he been to? Are you sure it is almost 50%? No. Duke and Texas played in East Rutherford, New Jersey. If I'm not mistaken, Vince Young dropped by before the Heisman Trophy Award Banquet. They only legitimite "road" games Duke played last season were Indiana, Georgetown and Temple. They played three games in the New York City area: Drexel and Memphis at Madison Square Garden, and then the afore mentioned Texas game in New Jersey. Finally, the played UNC-Greensboro in Greensboro, but not at UNCG's home court. This isn't a knock, just information.
December 22, 200619 yr Did they play Texas in Austin? How many years has Coach K been there and how many final fours has he been to? Are you sure it is almost 50%? This is Coach K's 27th year at Duke. They have been to 9 Final Fours, which means 33%. That's still very good.
December 22, 200619 yr Duke will likely be a two, or three seed...the Sweet 16 should be safe. welcome to BGP And nothing more, just like the last 4 years.
