They’re a little pricey for what you get but it’s not something you can find locally. I’d honestly consider them more of an appetizer or snack. I’d be embarrassed to guess how many pounds I would need to consider them a meal.

I could eat shrimp by the pound, so now I'm really intrigued!

It was good. We spent the first night we were there on Bourbon Street, that was a good time. Did a lot of walking around the French Quarter over the weekend, taking in quite a few bars and restaurants. Went down to Frenchmen Street and listened to some live music. Ate lots of good food, beignets are overrated.
