Raceland's Whitney Seals lead all scoring with 17, Rachel Vanderhoof had 11, The Porter girls had 3 each. Congrats again to the Lady Rams on a big win - you held on under tough defensive pressure, stepped up and made the "D" stops when you had to and gained a well earned win on the road against a quality opponet.:thumb: :thumb: :flame:

Nice win. Just got a call from my old buddy TBF. Held Rowan to three field goals in first half.

:thumb: From the way it sounded on the radio the Raceland defense was excellent, especially in the first half. Rowan got some points off turnovers from their pressure in the 2nd half. By the way, WLGC did an excelent job in broadcasting the game. Forrest (I belive his name was ) was great.

Nice win on the road for the Lady Rams as they jumped out to a big lead to begin the game and came away with the W to push their record to 5-2. Rams held off a second half comeback from a very scrappy and determined Rowan defense.

As OldRambler mentioned, excellent play by play by WLGC and Jim Forrest.

I don't think Jim Forrest works the Rowan County games anymore.

I don't know about that but it was Jim Forrest that called the game tonight. He also called the Raceland/Boyd Co. game last week. He did a great job and gave credit to both teams on the floor.

Will the real Jim Forrest please stand up!!

Maybe he left Morehead and works Raceland's games now. I don't know.

Forrest works a lot of WLGC broadcast. I don't know what other games/teams he works but he is excellent. Like cville said he broadcast with class - giving credit and respect to both teams in a fair manner. By the way, about my avatar - that is Orlando "Tubby" Smith :thumb: , one of the best college basketball coaches in the country with more class in his little finger than most will ever have in their whole body.;) Thank you for asking.:D
