I don't know the total, but do know that Eminence actually plays a game or two against out of state opponents each year in order to put a schedule together.

They weren't always 8-man. They played in Class 1A and competed in regular districts many years. Only in the last few years have they played 8-man. Here's a link to a good article about Eminence football:

Some solid players have came out of that small school.

The name that comes to mind for me is Marcus Wright. Very fast, very elusive RB!

Didn't they have some kid that made like 180 tackles in one 10-game season back in the early 90's??? I believe he walked on at UK after he graduated from Eminence.....

Only guy I know of that walked on at UK was Buddy Berry. He was average high school player. Nothing about him stands out. He is a fine young man and has done a good job coaching. Not sure what he is doing now.

That sounds right! That Berry boy gave it everything he had! Not that athletic, but played hard! Where did he coach and how did they do?

Buddy was the head coach at Owen and then he went to J-Town as head coach, he is now helping Eminence and think he teaches at Shelby Co.

Wasn't Keith Blackburn a very good RB for Eminence?

He may have been. That was back in the day that my team (Trimble) wasn't playing football, so I don't remember. However, Blackburn was an outstanding basketball player and athlete, so chances are that you are right. He is now the head basketball coach at Eminence.
