Conner 55 Beechwood 49

[B-Ball-fan]

Beechwood came out on fire to take a 22-11 lead, then the tables turned and Conner went on a 22-11 run themselves to knot it all up at 33 at halftime. 

Much less finding the basket in the 2nd half by both teams, and a whole lot more fouling. Beechwood struggled to push the lead up to 46-39, and Conner struggled themselves to get it going,  then it was all Conner after that with a 16-3 run that brought them to victory and a final score of 55-49. 

Lots of missed foul shots by Draud in the end that would’ve made it a much closer final score. 

I don’t have any final stats.

Anyone have an actual Box Score?  That would likely be pretty interesting.

 

Kudos to sophomore Landen Hamilton leading the Cougars, been watching that young man since he was about 8 -- really happy for he and his family.  He, Campbell, and Lohr should have a great 2.5 years remaining with the Cougars.

To be fair, Beechwood has an outstanding sophomore class as well, they should be in good hands the next couple of years.

Beechwood resorted to individual ball in the 4th quarter. Lots of questionable shots and missed free throws!
