Colonels_Wear_Blue
Coach Nathan Smith stepped down on Monday, three days after the Wildcats' 2nd round playoff exit following a 34-27 loss to Metcalfe County, whom they had beaten 23-21 during the regular season. Smith is a 2008 graduate of Edmonson County, and became an assistant coach immediately after graduating. He spent 5 years as head coach of the Wildcats after 8 years on the assistant coaching staff.Nathan Smith Steps Down As ECHS Head Football Coach
Purple88
I think this is a bad deal for Edmonson County. Losing a guy who played there, assisted there and became the head man there. That's roughly 17-18 years of consistent stability Coach Smith provided for Edmonson! He will be tough to follow IMO.

DevilMayCare
Former Grayson County coach Ed Smart has been hired to fill this position. He's Grayson's winningest coach after spending sixteen years there from 2004-2019.
