You mean a guy like Clarke that some schools like Memphis were recruiting and told him they would like him at the point. Clark himself who has even said he sees himself more as a guard. Also when it comes to going from the pg to the two guard spot. Its probably not easy for them to go from being the guy dominating the ball their whole life as the pg, to having to play off the ball. Learning how to move without the ball, how to come off screens, etc. Like it or not, Cal has done that many times in his career moving guys around.
December 3, 20205 yr If I were coaching against this UK team I'd just pressure/harass Askew if Cal continues to insist he start at the point and then I'd pack it in the paint and force UK to shoot. That would at least give me a puncher's chance.
