I feel that I would honor Coach Anthony Cook by giving him some well deserved recognition after 4 solid years of service and dedication to the sport he loves more than anything. For those who know Anthony Cook will have nothing but good thing to say about him and how much he has grown up in the past 4 years. Cook graduated this year after serving the Rockcastle County Rockets as student manager. His win-loss record is unheard of and his endless knowledge of statitistics is well, amazing. He had the opportunity to dress out for the first time ever on senior night and then proceeded to dress out for the 1st round of the playoffs. His true dream of playing for the Rockets came true against Knox Central and Clay County in the playoffs. He had 6 rushes for 30 yards in those two games. I'd say he mostly enjoyed his 4 weeks of practice prior to these games though as he learned how to play the game. Congrats Cook, everyone will miss you next year.

That's five yards per carry. He should have gotten in much sooner!

Seriously, though, congratulations to Mr. Cook. He's served the program well for four years and hopefully the good people of Rockcastle County recognize the dedication he has shown. Congratulations!

You are the MAN coach Cook! Student mananger/players are hard to come by these days. Again Congratulations.

Congratulations Coach Cook. You have done very well in the four years you were there. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do in life.

Great job by the young man. Why was he a student/manager the previous years? Was there a disability that kept him from participating prior to this?
