How was that not scored a error is beyond me! But at least no damage was done other than Bauer having to throw 5 extra pitches.

Reds leave another runner in scoring position as Votto takes a called third. It is their 3rd through 3 innings

Pretty good inning for Bauer as he strikes out the side in the bottom of the 3rd. That is 5 straight K's.

Reds go quietly in the top of the 4th with one hard hit ball by Suarez. Its still 0-0 headed to the bottom of the 4th.

In the official box score they have correctly changed the Albies hit to a error on Votto.

Braves put two on in the bottom of the 4th but Bauer gets out of it. The score is still 0-0 headed to the top of the 5th.

The Reds go quietly again 1,2,3 in the top of the 5th. A pitcher like Fried you need to get on him early the Reds had their chance in the first inning.

Come on Joey find a gap here and get us on the board!

Joey gets a hit and a terrible base running error by Castellanos! Takes the Reds out of the 6th. Its still 0-0.

I am not watching the game but the call on the radio made it sound like a close play at 3rd.  In general, that is a very good base running play in the game like this. Get to 3rd base with one out if possible. If thrown out, Votto should be at 2nd and you still have a runner in scoring position.

The radio was wrong it was not very close at all and just like the guys on tv says that is not a good base running move to try and go to 3rd on a hit to left field.

Nice job by Bauer getting out of lead off double by the Braves. The Reds need to get something here Fried has not pitched past 6 innings in more than 3 weeks. They have 2 on with 1 out.
