Louisville Collegiate Sweeps "A" State With Three 10-0 Shutouts

Louisville Collegiate was perfect in "A" State play this weekend at Capital View Park in Frankfort.

They defeated Hazard, Murray, and Prestonsburg 10-0 each to win the "A" State Championship.

In Regional play they defeated Brown 10-0, and in the Sectional beat Williamstown 9-1.  Only Williamstown kept them from sweeping their entire slate of games in the "A" Regional, Sectional, and State Competition in "Mercy Rule", shutout fashion. .

Collegiate is presently 8-1 on the season, with their only blemish being a 3-2 double-overtime loss to Louisville St. Xavier.

The first half will be played in full no matter the score line. Once the winning team reaches a 10 goal lead the game is over in the second half (if the second half is necessary).
