2020 College Football Playoffs

Featured Replies

Will a National Champion be awarded this season?

If so, how will it be awarded? What criteria...a vote, a computer, a playoff?

What about the Schools waiting for the spring, will they just not be considered?

If 3/5 conferences play a “full schedule” in the fall, there will be a playoff.

Those who choose to play in the spring (they won’t) will be outta luck.

I agree with that line of thinking...spring schools are just out of luck.

What happens if fall schedule is cancelled in the middle?

Start all over in the Spring?

This is a mess.

Good question and I'm not sure there's an answer. I'd imagine if they start they'll do everything they possibly can to finish. I can't envision any Power 5 league playing in the spring (contrary to what the Big 10 and Pac-12 might say) so I'd be very surprised if the ACC/SEC/Big 12 played a half season in the fall then resume in the spring. But that's all my opinion.
