I disagree with that, but it will be a dog fight between the top three. If you think Brossart is going to walk away with it easily you are sadly mistaken.

Not walk away with it, but if Brossart plays the way I think they will, they should be district champs. They beat both CCHS and Scott last year with mainly underclassmen. This year they return their top 2 pitchers and most of their starters. Scott and CCHS lost some good players from last year. It will be a dog fight. But I am pulling for one of the smallest (if not the smallest-78 students in the entire HS) public schools in the state SILVER GROVE. They may not have as much talent as the bigger schools, but they won't back down to anyone!!

I just heard that Browning is running Track.. Also Ryan Hamm a big contact hitter also Decided to pursue other sports. This is a big loss for Coach Murphy and his Royals. They will also struggle with a young staff. Although a player from Midland Ohio has filled the center field position and another pitcher to the staff. But the royals will struggle this year early with a very tough schedule.

I heard Cory "Diddy" Woods a sophmore is a really good player for the Royals. Stepped up big for the royals and played shortstop and 2nd base for them and will prolly be on the pitching staff.

St. Pat has 8 returning starters that include Owens and Anderson along with Robert Englert Craig Chamberlain. With a lot of experience the Saints are looking to make run at a winning season and the 39th district

Browning is a tough loss to the team, had a great arm from the outfield and could hit the ball in streaks. As far as Hamm, never saw much playing time on the varsity level. Not the big loss like you are saying. Richie Cox is playing baseball and is looking good early in practice. He isn't a pitcher though, so doesn't add one the rotation. Mason returns everyone but three seniors and one starter from last year who decided not to play, other than Browning. They will find replacements for the two that have decided not to play. Can't wait for the season to start! GO ROYALS!

If the Cox kid played for Midland in Cincy he is a player. He could replace Browning in CF. But is he a better hitter than Browning???? :confused:

Not sure if he is a better hitter than Browning, never seen Cox play in a game. Although, the other night against East Carter he hit a shot to left center field. Should be a good season for 10th region baseball!

It was definitely a shot. One of the more impressive HR's I have seen in a while. The kid also looks the part, very athletic looking kid.

I heard their were two Mason County boys who hit homeruns. If Cox was one who was the other? I hope the hitting starts tonight for the Royals!!!! Can't wait to see baseball again!!! Go Royals!!!!
