I think as of now its going to be a bye. I know they tried to pick up a game there but nothing worked out.

Douglass will be looking to fill  a game now on either Sept. 18 or Oct. 9 now since Henry Clay cancelled their first two games of the season.

So the Scott County and Frederick Douglass is off for this week on the basis that Fayette County is too much of a COVID-19 hotspot. Here's how their remaining schedules currently line up...

I have to think that Lafayette and Lexington Catholic are going to be looking for a new opponent (maybe each other) on October 30th. Unless the KHSAA is okay with a district game taking place the week before playoffs start...and in that case, St. X is gonna end up with the short end of the stick againnnn.

Yes both the Scott Co./Douglass and PLD/Great Crossing games were cancelled on Scott Co. end. Station and Lafayette are still playing as of now as is Pikeville.Henry Clay game. Also Douglass reached out all afternoon with Dunbar to just play them since they lost their game with Great Crossing. However Dunbar refused to play Douglass even Douglass offered to come back to Dunbar again this year but their said no. They are actually having a senior night with no game.

The Frederick Douglass and Scott Co. game has been rescheduled for Oct. 30. Their games with Lexington Catholic and Lafayette  on that date has been cancelled.
