Explains the stat I saw the other day that Central has made the 7th Region Tourney like eleventy billion years in a row. In that district, that now makes perfect sense.

7th Region:

 

27th: Trinity, Seneca, Waggener, Atherton

 

28th: Ballard, Eastern, Christian Academy, KCD, Walden

 

26th: Male, St. Xavier, Collegiate, Brown

 

25th: DuPont Manual, Central, Shawnee, Portland Christian, St. Francis

 

7th Region may be the toughest region in the state but their districts are soft. Only the 27th is difficult to predict who will be the 2nd team and right now it’s pretty set that Trinity will be one of them.

The good teams are balanced out pretty evenly.

12th Region

45th: Boyle Co., Danville, Garrard Co., Lincoln Co., KSD, Danville Christian Academy (6 Team District)

47th: Casey Co., Pulaski Co., Somerset, Rockcastle Co.

46th: Burgin, East Jessamine, Mercer Co., West Jessamine

48th: McCreary Central, Pulaski Southwestern, Wayne Co. (3 Team District)

 

I still don't understand how there is a 6 Team district, and a 3 Team District. I've also heard more schools similar to Danville Christian Academy will be applying for membership, so maybe that'll potentially shake up the districts.

Central was in the 6th Region until 2010-2011 during re-alignment when they moved to 7th region.
