Honestly, a very good game by Henry. For every run gallatin had in them, Henry answered every single one. Once they got the lead, they never looked back. Pretty good game from Langford from Henry County.

We've been seeing tremendous improvement from the New Castle Wildcats... Coach Welch - since he's finally gotten a healthy roster - has done great things with Henry. It's not just the fact that Trevor Hardin is 100%, or even that Ethan Lankford continues to score in a prolific manner, it's also the supporting cast. Ryan Phillips is getting better on the inside every game - 10 points and 9 rebounds against North Oldham Saturday - and Kevin Wix is a fiery presence at guard.

 

Henry plays with passion and with a chip on their shoulder.

 

Bottom-line is I guess I'm not overwhelmingly surprised at this score. The battle for the 31st this year is going to be a very good one (and don't forget Carroll).

 

Wish I could have seen this one - two great region 8 coaches patrolling the sidelines.

Congrats to Jarin Rassman! Truly a very special player. Last week I thought very highly of this Gallatin team and really expected this to be the time for them to get hot. With this being there 2nd loss in a row and not exactly an easy schedule coming up (at Spencer, at Lloyd, home vs SK). With that being said Gallatin has still all but guaranteed there spot in the 8th region tournament by nearly locking up the 1 seed in the district. These next few games could tell a lot.

I agree. We'll be broadcasting the SK game, so we'll see if it's Post All "A" Blues or something else.

Gotta remember the McAlister injury was a big blow to the team and Dickerson sat out as well with an ankle issue. Not saying Henry wouldn’t have won. The 4 game stretch starting last night was gonna be tough even with a full compliment of players.
