This one will be round two for these two teams, after Ashland winning 71-60 in their first matchup of the season in the AIT, which was started then finished the next day due to condensation on the floor at James A. Anderson.

Ashland looked to be on their way to a 20+ point win in the first matchup until the game was stopped, allowing Boyd to restart with fresh legs and around 9 minutes left to play. This game will be at Boyd County however, so what should we expect?

Side note, there are rumors that this one will be postponed as well, due to the flu. Until I can confirm that I feel like this is a game of discussion for this weekend.

No discussion here, Tomcats romp.

Appears that this one will be postponed, Boyd County has canceled school the rest of the week. A makeup date seems to be unclear at the moment but this one will have to be played regardless for seeding purposes.

Are you sure they are cancelling this? In my middle school conference Ashland and Boyd Middle are scheduled to play each other this evening and as far as I know it is still scheduled.

I'll take Ashland by 20.

I like your prediction better but I've tried to make a statistical prediction. But with rivalries and home court advantages, who knows.

It's a hard game to judge considering how the last one had a 17 or so hour suspension when Ashland was getting ready to blow the roof off James A. Anderson. I'm not that big on home court advantage when these two play, both teams will bring a lot of fans and both teams are very familiar with the others gymnasiums.

That said, Ashland is the better team, Boyd will wear down in the second half and Ashland will pull away for about a 20 point win.
