I hate winter rain. This lack of snow that we’ve had over the last 10 years or so depresses me. While I hate driving in it, not having any snow just doesn’t feel right. There’s something that’s really peaceful about an accumulating snow. I need some cold and some snow keep my system right.

I agree. If it’s going to be cold, then it might as well snow.

This is pretty much me.

Treacherous road conditions notwithstanding, I prefer some snow over what we've been getting in recent years. I miss the tranquility of the healthy winter snowfalls of my childhood. The snow had a way of quieting everything around me except my crunchy footsteps as I trudged through it to build a snowman.

My wife came to pick my son up from Starbucks so I could go to basketball. I waive goodby the final time and he doesn’t look at me, but about ten people see me waving. I didn’t want to look stupid so I just continued to waive as if I was intentionally waving at another person and now the coffee girls thinks I have the hots for her.
