Traditional Bank Challenge championship final between BGP #6 Madisonville and BGP # 7 Lex Cath. Game time - 7:00 tonight at Lex Cath’s Bueter Gym.

Madisonville is 11-1 with wins over #8 McCracken Co. and #12 Bourbon Co., along with a one point overtime loss to #3 Collins in OT at the King of the Bluegrass.

Lex Cath is 11-0 and owns a one point win over #5 Cov Cath in the season opener for both teams.

Game will be streamed live by PrepSpin, with Gary Ball at the mic.

Announcers are calling this game the state's #1 vs. #2 (based on RPI). Nice Prep"spin." No love for out of state competition in football in the RPI. It'll have even less substance in ranking basketball.

Looking forward to the Week 4 BGP rankings. MaxPreps rankings (with SOS) should update tomorrow.
