My question is, how did Mason County get it into overtime? I've seen them both play and felt Bourbon County was the much better team.

Mason had a ten point lead starting fourth quarter. Bourbon turns up the heat and Mason turned it over. Neither team shot well but they shot lay-ups in the fourth quarter. Mason played without May or Brammer.

Not tonight they was not. Mason controlled the game for three quarters and lost it in the fourth due to turnovers. Mason tied it on a Schalch basket and Bourbon had a shot at the buzzer but come up short. Dominated us in overtime.

Really good showing from Mason Co. This team will be in the mix to compete for a regional title come March. Short handed last night without two of their better shooters. 4 starters fouled out for Mason Co.

The Royals were short a couple Players. Mason had a 12 point lead at one point but a fast and athletic Bourbon team worked hard down the stretch to tie the Game and run away with it in O.T.
