Which is the two have had the hardest road to make it to the state finals? Tell me who and why?

Male defeated:

Southern 43-0

Fern Creek 27-8

St. X 33-7

Trinity defeated:

Marshall Co. 63-0

Ballard 42-12

Oldham Co 56-0

North Hardin 54-7

 

I'd say Male played slightly better competition. The only common opponents were Ballard and St. X.

Although, I wouldn't say either had a "hard road" to get there.

I’d say the St. X name pops out more for Male and that makes it look harder. But from a complete outsider to both programs without a dog in the fight I can tell you that I had zero doubt these two teams would be the last ones standing.

I would say Male slightly, but I don’t think it matters much.

Taken by round, I would guess that Southern is a little better than Marshal, Fern Creek and Ballard close, St X over Oldham and North Hardin over Tates Creek. Neither road was that hard, but edge to Male.

Fern Creek beat Ballard 15-12. But it could go 50/50 if they played 10 times. I agree with you though.
