Highlands at Camp Ernst

6th Highlands by a lot

7th Highlands by 15ish

8th Camp Ernst by 1

The 8th grade game featured one of the wildest finishes I have ever seen. Double technical on Camp Ernst bench when up 4 with 3 seconds left after a foul by Highlands. Led to 4 made free throws by Highlands and a chance at buzzer to win the game. Wild...

That was a crazy finish. Props to the player who made four straight free throws. Given the momentum shift, I was sure Highlands would pull that out.

Camp Ernst deserved to win. I’m sure Highlands would love another shot at them when they are 100%. Good middle school game between 2 solid teams.

Was anyone at Ockerman Jr High tonight? Saw police and ambulances there, hope everyone is okay and no one was hurt. I assumed there were middle school games going on.
