It's not the KHSAA tourney. The state wide league is ran by the KYMSFA. Some of the reason is because of travel and expense.

 

Thank you for your response! And I understand that. I may be wrong though, as I just saw where my Purples 7th Grade team will play the Union Raiders 7th Grade team in Lexington in the semi-finals this Saturday! Should be a great game! I wish I could go.

The Boone County Teams (Union, Conner) do participate in the KYMSFA, but none of them are officially school affiliated. Lots of issues as to why they aren't in the NKMSAA, but it's been hashed out here on this site many times.
