UCLA 67 Washington State 63

Featured Replies

All in regulation. 1377 yards of total offense by both teams.

This was a wild one. Glad I stayed up to watch it.

Anthony Gordon's line was 41/61, 570 yards, 9 TDs, 2 INTs

DTR had an exceptional game, 25/38, 507 yards, 5 TDs, 1 INT. He looked how he was hyped, last night.

The Bruins trailed 35-17 at the half. WSU actually lead 49-17 with 6:52 left in the 3rd quarter. UCLA out scored the Cougars 50-14 from that point on.

The Cougars committed 6 turnovers, including Gordon's fumble at the end that allowed UCLA to run out the clock.

UCLA ran back a kickoff and a punt for scores.

Washington State was 3-0 and ranked 19 going into this game. Why?

UCLA was 0-3 going in, with 2 losses to G5 schools, Cincinnati on the road and San Diego State at home, and a blowout loss to #5 Oklahoma at home.

It's getting fun to watch the PAC-12 self-destruct every year.

In all honestly, team for team, which conference would you take right now? PAC 12 or AAC? PAC 12 is better at the top, but top to bottom I’m potentially taking the AAC.

I appreciate your sentiment, but the AAC is systematically excluded from any playoff consideration, so I have no desire to debate it. Therefore, I have no opinion either way regarding your statement.

I just find it funny that under the system in place, the PAC-12 consistently implodes every year leaving themselves with no team capable of qualifying. Cal is the only team left without a loss, already. The pollsters will push them up, hoping above hope that they will hold on, but the Bears will probably blow it. The conference champion invariably ends up with at least 2 losses and usually one that they should have won. Cal almost let that Ole Miss game get away from them last Saturday and Ole Miss does not appear to be all that and a bag of chips (I am being nice. :) ).

PAC 12 is better at the top.

No it isn't.

Was able to see the highlights of this one and can only say that I wished I was there to see it live.
