B-Ball-fan
Wow, Daniel Johnston, Eddie Money, and now Ric Ocasek all in the same week. The Cars released their first album when I was in the 8th grade where I instantly became a fan thinking it was the coolest sound that I had ever heard. Their music has also really held up where it feels as fresh today as it did back then. R.I.P Mr. Ocasek... you were a true innovator of a unique sound that give me and so many others great memories of their younger hip days where jamming your tunes on our stereos was everything. Mack The Knife
The Cars were the first concert I attended at Riverbend. 1984 I believe. A couple of buddies and myself went after playing in a softball tournament at Riverstar. If memory serves me well, Wang Chung was the opening act, although not 100% sure.
