February 22, 20197 yr The Monkees’ Peter Tork dies at age 77 What a bummer... I couldn't help but be saddened by this. What a likable guy, and a fun part of my childhood. Who didn't like Peter Tork? No one because how could you not? RIP Peter
February 24, 20197 yr Is there only one of the group still living? They were part of my teen years. They had some good songs but I think studio musicians played most of their music, at least that’s what was told at the time.

They had some good songs but I think studio musicians played most of their music, at least that’s what was told at the time. Micky and Mike are still alive. Yes, many of their records were recorded by others, however their album "Headquarters" was their way of showing that they truly could play their instruments, and write decent tune by themselves. The album is really good, and one that I highly recommend listening to to give respect to these guys for their own artistic abilities.
February 24, 20197 yr Author ^^^ I was hoping to find the whole album in its entirety, but it's broken up into multiple videos. I suppose that anyone interested in listening will go to youtube and enjoy it there.
