Missed free throws doomed Bracken. 9-18 from the stripe in the 4th quarter, and I believe 2 for their last 6. 17-28 for the game.

This game was Bracken's and they just could not shoot Free Throws down the stretch. Still had two good looks at the end and just could not get it to go. Bracken shot FT's nearly every time down the floor. Mason was good in transition but not very good in their Half court game. When Lofton got the technical the game should have been over.

Braden May with a layup with about 8 seconds to go. Welcome back Braden.

I thought the same thing as I was following the updates on Twitter.

What a privilege it was to watch this game in person. I agree that the free throw shooting cost the Polar Bears this game but the effort from everyone on both teams was an absolute joy to watch. Neither team deserved to lose them game but that’s the way the game goes. Who knows, maybe we could see this game again next week in the region? Congrats to both teams on giving it everything they had

Why did he get the T?

He fouled out and then slammed the ball on the court right in front of the ref

Thanks. Yelp that should get you one every time.

Didn’t see him slam the ball... think he was showing frustration and hit the floor with his hand.

No ball slam...He got called for his 5th for bodying up while trying to trap. He obviously didn't think it should be and started punching the floor in frustration. He deserved the T but it wasn't for a ball slam.

Great effort by both teams. I actually saw Coach Kirk and Coach Hinson look at each other at one point and sort of smile. I think they both loved the atmosphere and the effort of their players. Great crowd on hand got a great game to watch.

Another Fieldhouse Classic. The best place for high school basketball. Just thing how many area people have memories from the Fieldhouse, both good and bad.
