Great game between these old rivals. Ashland's Cole Villers canned a three with around five seconds remaining in regulation, giving the Tomcats a 48-47 lead. But a teammate committed an offensive foul before he got the shot off, negating the go-ahead basket. Ashland then fouled, sending Boyd County to the free throw line. The Boyd player missed the front end of a one and one. Ashland's Justin Bradley drew a foul on the rebound and drained both FT's at the other end to tie the game with just a couple of seconds left, forcing overtime. These two are no strangers to late game drama. Another classic in this storied 16th Region rivalry.
