Conner gets the win on senior night in Taylor Mill. Scott did a nice job honoring their seniors (even the Conner seniors) and letting all their seniors play.

I thought Scott would be a lot better and more consistent this season. They have 10 seniors on the roster and would expect them to win these games regardless of whether or not Ohmer is out.

Looking at their roster, they may struggle mightily next season. Of the 15 players that are recorded as playing in the 19 games they have entered stats for, 5 of them are non-seniors. They have only been in an average of just under 9 games a piece. This will be a very inexperienced roster next season.

They have also played a very competitive schedule that should prepare them for the postseason by playing John Hardin twice (neutral & away game), Henry Clay (neutral), Beechwood (away), Cov Cath (away), played a top 5 team from Alabama in Sparkman High and won, played South Laurel, played Campbell, play SK tonight, play North College Hill (1st in their conference in Ohio) and Cooper next week.

Scott arguably has one of the toughest schedule in the state and has battled injury all year. Definitely have to play the games with what you got and win the games you’re suppose to win. While battling injury and playing a hard schedule is no excuse to lose a game, you have to think that Scott will be battle tested and be a dangerous team come postseason time and at that time everyone is 0-0 and ANYTHING can happen!

Also, speaking about the future...3 freshman and a 8th grader playing JV and the freshman team just won the 10th Region Tournament and Woodland’s 8th and 7th Grade teams had great seasons. To me, seems like the future might be brighter than you think in Taylor Mill.

I was specific in saying next year. I’m also hearing some of the woodland kids are looking elsewhere already.

Yeah those kids who play Varsity, JV and Freshmen could very well have a impact on the varsity level next year...just like you said they could “struggle mightily”

There is always two sides to everything.

Believe that when I see that.
