Kids walking halls not playing comes from 1 of 3 things... Lack of heart, ego that younger kids starting over them, and/or parents thinking their son is way better than he is & continuing to blame it on the coach!

 

I think a lot of kids these days are specializing in one sport. I don't agree with it and don't know many coaches who are against their kids playing other sports. But with the new rules and being able to "practice" all year around, if you're not there working, someone else is and if it's your favorite sport, you're probably going to go.

Ryle has the same problem Dixie has someone’s EGO is bigger than the team. Kids don’t play hard for EGOTISTICAL people. It’s the kids team not the coaches. Ryle coach just had a meeting with the kids and parents and cried the kids won’t listen to me that’s why we lose. People will follow great leaders they can’t coach as a king or by intimidation. Conner had the problem 2 years ago.

You may be right. Don't know the situation. I should have said, "he should not be coaching there next year." (again, if the previous story is true, which it appears to be)

Sounds like the boys club koolaid commenting now. This year Ryle should have been competing with everyone & for sure a winning record. I’ve watched a few games this year and I was shocked to see the BS stuff that is tolerated by a few of Big Macs favs. Oh well no dog in the fight, shame to see this school fighting to see out of the basement.
