Scott County had last possession with 20+ seconds remaining. Held for one, ended up having two last ditch effort desperation shots that didn't connect.

This just shows how good Scott County is even without having Moreno. One heck of a tournament they played. Let’s come home and win State.

Someone said in another thread 4-6 weeks.

Scott County had a seven point lead but Westchester ended the game on a 9-1 run. Scott County missed two free throws with just over a minute left and had a turnover and foul that led to the two winning free throws for Westchester. They still almost did it without Moreno.

 

I really think this will be their only loss. I think ultimately they will have come that close to an undefeated year.

Anyone certainly could lose a game. Still, without Moreno they nearly won one of the best tournaments while matching up against some of the best in the country. Won their semifinal without him entirely and were in position to win the final against the #20 team in the country. And none of their games against Kentucky competition have even been close. I get they had Moreno, but still - you have to think they're an overwhelming favorite.

Have you seen Madison Central play ? No way they beat SC this year with or without Moreno and Trinity is very questionable even with Johnson.

Scott will go undefeated the rest of the way. There isn’t a team in state that is close and they have proved it. Madison Central isn’t really that good. They’ve lost a few games against mediocre teams. Trinity is the only solid team left on the schedule, without Moreno I still think S.C. is at least 10 points better.
