Agreed, but with SK and Grant both shooting 40% from behind the arc a "6'10" rim protector" may not be as big of a factor against these two teams. WV's defense is probably the bigger concern for these two teams.

 

Only means they can guard the perimeter more closely. No fear of anyone getting around a defender and going to the rim.

Since the 8th Region re-districted in 2006, no team outside of the 29th and 30th districts has won the 8th region. This might be the year the streak is broken as the 32nd is right now looking like the strongest district in the region.

 

But - as somebody has already stated - you don't crown champions in December. Lots of b-ball to play....
