I did not see it but heard that Conner started the game with a 14-0 run before Ryle started chipping away. Think Ryle won 60-49.

I saw the game. Ryle missed shots early. Conner made shots. Ryle down 14-0 to start. Conner crowd was big and noisy, seemed to played a role the whole game. Ryle starts faceguarding Hurst, makes her not have as many opportunities. Ryle is down 1 at half. Ryle led by 3-6 most of second half except one time in the 4th. Pulled away down the stretch. Schwartz with 22, Scherr with 17. Both had to have double figure rebounds as well. Conner is loaded with senior leadership and girls that work hard. Have a long history with Cougar athletics and love the girls basketball program, but being a Ryle parent I was happy to see Ryle come away with the W. Ryle is very good this year. Not sure about the #16 in country MaxPreps ranking, but definitely one of the top teams in KY. Crittenden, Douthit, Johnson and McGregor are very good and with their talent increasing from last year they will be tough.

Playing the #11 team in the state four times in one season will not be easy.
