8th Region Week 1 Review: Way Too Early to Tell How This Will Shake Out

It will get SK ready for Miles kid from Walton I'm guessing?

They have played against Miles plenty of times.

Grant County (4-1) on the road at South Oldham (2-1) tonight.

Lots of new faces on South's team (9 seniors graduated last year). For the last few years, Steve Simpson - who is now in his 19th season at South, with a 347-190 mark, including 3 regional titles) - has had senior-dominated teams. This one is more junior-led, with Luke Morrison, a three year starter, the most potent offensive threat and a potential double-double every night.

Joe Utter at Grant is trying to take his team up a step after a tough season last year. In a district where they will either have to beat SK or Walton-Verona to make it to the region, the Braves will be looking to show that their 4-1 start is for real, as they haven't truly been tested yet, except by Woodford County, their lone loss.

I doubt there'll be a shortage of points in this one.

If you can't make it, the online video broadcast will start at 7 pm on The Pegasus Sports Network - PSN It will also be archived for one year.

Big test for SK Friday Lafayette has a 6'10 kid.

That kid is not mobile at all though. One of the slowest players I've seen.

I’m not so sure anything will get you ready to play against Miles...
