Altercation after the 3A State Championship Game involving Central and Corbin

I worked in Corbin 30 years ago then in the area again 10 years ago, there has been a dramatic change over that time. Are there still issues, sure. The difference is that it's not as overty open as it used to be. More and more of the old guard are dying off and Corbin is slowly creeping into this century.

 

I don't know anything about any of these players, so I don't know if #55 would have hit a white player or not and it doesn't really matter. What he did was advance a perception about that community that was already there.

The way Taylor has been treated by some people since that happened is just way beyond anything he said. I guess double standards are something that you just have to learn from and live with.

 

Are we seriously trying to paint that guy as a victim?
