Surprising score. We need someone to fill in the details on this one. I expected Crittenden County to win big in this one.

They almost did. Bethlehem was up 7-6 at half, but CC scored 27 straight in the 3rdQ.

 

CC also had a TD pass overturned that could have put them up 40-7, but the gadget play had too many forward passes.

 

Bethlehem scored 20 straight in the 4thQ, and thought they got the onside kick after scoring with about 2 minutes left, but a flag dropped against them and CC ran the clock out.

 

Pretty wild game. I half thought it would end up a 20-19 game the way the first half went.

They should feel fortunate to escape. If Bethlehem had a little more time, or they get that onside kick late, they probably spring the upset. Eagles got two INTs and a fumble recovery, and got stops on downs four other times.

The team you saw in the 3rd quarter is the team that shows up 90% of the time. Can’t play 1 quarter next week and expect to win.

If I were a Rockets fan, after this performance I would be worried about a repeat of last year's regional final game.
