Ok Buckeye fans, did any of you like those uniforms? Personally, I thought that was sacrilegious seeing OSU in those black helmets.

 

No problem with the uniforms and I’m a diehard Buckeye. They had them for a couple years and I’m ok with them being brought out once a year. I’m more concerned with the play and the coaching frankly. This team is no where near a playoff contender and thought having a bye week they would play at least 50% better but sadly I’ve been let down since Meyer returned which is a totally separate subject.

I will not be surprised one bit if there are no W’s vs the schools up north over the next two weeks.

I can think of a few more teams, Ha. OSU just hasn’t panned out near their hype the past few years. Nebraska should have never been sniffing around winning that game. The lowly Huskers made bone head bungle after bungle and still hung around. I think the problems in Columbus are pretty bad. Michigan is going to embarrass them.

I’ll repeat, nobody outside of Tuscaloosa has more talent than the Buckeyes. For whatever reason they just aren’t showing that on the field. But you won’t find anyone that disagrees with OSUs talent level. They just aren’t being put in position to win right now.

All we heard a year ago was how great of a coach Schiano was, now he's not?

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what the issue is defensively. The scheme Ohio State ran today actually worked pretty well, they just made a bunch of mental errors that will happen when you change things drastically. But when you lose the best DBs coach in college football to the NFL, lose your best linebackers coach in school history, and you replace them both with duds, it doesn’t help.

.….. along with the Black jerseys, pants. That entre uniform was imo terrible. I'm old school though, not many seem to care about traditions, history anymore. All about how much money they can make by selling those jesrseys … and there's enough that will run out and buy one.

This one was another sub par performace, doing what was needed to win. Not a lot of "fire", not playing with any emotion. One good thing, besides the win of course, was the running game returned.

On to East Lansing / MSU, which will be another "root canal" type game w / Sparty.

I feel a lot better going into East Lansing with running backs and an O line who have their confidence back in the run game even if it was against Nebraska.
