The Red Devils (8-2) have been nearly impossible to contain on offense since their loss to Bowling Green. They've averaged 42 points per game during their current six game win streak. Greenwood (2-8) has given up 35+ points in each of their last four games, all losses.

From what I'm hearing, the trend is going to continue (Giving up 35+ points a game). I hope Owensboro doesn't fall into the trap of looking ahead to who will be there for round 2. If they take care of business all they need to worry about is that they are in round 2 not who is across the field.

Greenwood hasn't scored 35 points in a game this year. They haven't scored 35 points in a game against Owensboro ever (23 is their highest), and are 0-10 against them all-time. I'm all for not taking things for granted, but a 2-8 Greenwood team is not the one to fear.

This will be a running clock game a with showdown with Bowling Green in the next round waiting.

I hope they get Greenwood out of the way quickly and they get the starters out early. The coaches have a tendency to move rather slowly when it comes to getting players out and I would hate to see some one get hurt because they don't move soon enough. The Devils are going to need all hands on deck for round two and beyond.
