It’s Tanner Morgan’s Time

Featured Replies

Former Ryle QB took over at QB for Minnesota to start the 2nd half against Nebraska facing a 28-8 deficit. He has ignited the Gopher offense so far with 6/7 passing for 149 yards and 3 carries for 26 yards. If you want to see a rising star, check out this game on the B10 Network.

Final stats for Morgan: 11/16 for 214 yards and an INT that the WR was responsible for. 4 rushes for 35 yards and a rushing TD.

Too bad Minnesota doesn’t believe in defense because he gave the Gophers much needed energy. If PJ Fleck is smart, #2 starts next week vs IU.

Agreed 100%. Tanner is a better QB than the other kid that has been getting all the reps. Quicker release, stronger arm, vertical passing threat, better runner.

Give Tanner the job! He has the intangibles.

Glad to see Tanner get his shot.. he is still a Hazard bulldog as well to me and the people here still cheer him on!
