Good article. That’s going to be a great experience for those kids from Colorado.

Well at least until kickoff.

I was a little harsh on this game in my WKY Rankings thread last week, but I think I was likely wrong. Those Colorado kids while taking a running clock loss will never forget this trip. Good for them! I hope they have a great memorable trip!

Love that article on multiple levels:

1. That Coach sounds like he has his head on straight. He is thinking for his kids and also staying positive about every detail.

2. Love the mindset of getting kids exposure as well.

3. Props to South Warren for being gracious hosts. The joint pizza party and allowing for some sight seeing is a cool gesture.

If I am a prominent local business in Fort Collins I think I am stepping up to the plate and talking to the Head Coach. Sounds like a good way to support the kids and get some good press. Maybe sponsor a similar road trip and get the news to cover it.
