Who has Caldwell beaten with a winning record?

A win this week probably gets them a little more respect but ultimately the game with Caldwell County next week is the standard by which we'll judge Tilghman. The Tornado haven't been able to play with Caldwell of late but if they're as good as we think they probably are, then a win in that game should push them higher up the chart.

If Tilghman makes a statement these next two weeks I think you can see them jump all the way to #6... maybe even #4 or 5 depending on how some other games play out (Belfry/Pikeville and LexCath vs. Highlands and DeSales)

Crittenden County is 2-1

 

Even more so than that, Caldwell has won the last three years over Tilghman. With similar resumes who do you think will get the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise?

I stand corrected on Crittenden. Thought they were 2-2 but I Didn’t realize past years played into this years rankings. I’m not a big fan of comparing scores but I’d take that approach over comparing head to head of years past. Different players/coaches and etc.. but to each his own.

Previous year results don't implicitly factor in, but I'd imagine in the case of a tough decision between where to rank two schools there is some inherent bias that leans toward a certain team who was has been more successful in the past.

Rankings are more art than science, especially in the first 1/2 of the season. The more they play, the clearer the picture will get.

I don’t put much into comparing scores but the only common opponent PT and Caldwell have is Graves. PT won 41-7 and Caldwell won 28-17.
