Glasgow’s (4-0) defense continued its dominant play with a 28-7 win over previously unbeaten Allen County-Scottsville. Running back Nick Mitchell had a career night with 291 yards and 3 TDs in the win. The Scotties’ defense, which has given up a 2A best 14 points through four games, will be tested by Warren East (2-2) RB Thomas Maxey. He's rushed for 667 yards and 9 TDs so far this season, including 250 yards and 3 TDs in Week 3's win over Edmonson County.

Glasgow has won three in a row but all three have been close.

I have to go with the Scotties but would not be surprised to see the Raiders pull the minor upset.

I saw ACS play Glasgow last week. ACS was in that game, but could not convert in the red zone. They came up empty three times before posting a meaningless score in the last minute. Maxey is something that ACS doesn't have, so I expect East to have some success scoring. But I also think at this point East's defense cannot stand up to the punishing ground attack of Glasgow. I like Glasgow here.

I think Glasgow wins in a shootout, something like 49-35.

Glasgow 41-27.
