Keeping the memories going:

 

The season that will perhaps go down as the most impressive in Belfry History is 2015.

 

The Pirates would play and defeat five teams who would reach their Class' distinctive State Championship games. Included in that group was back to back wins in the regular season over eventual State Champions.

 

The first was Pikeville, who would go on to win their next ten games and handle Beechwood in the 1A Final.

 

Belfry still had the taste of 2014 in their mouths and Pikeville let it linger a little more scoring on their opening drive to take an 8-0 lead. Belfry would then assert their will and dominate the rest of the way en route to a 34-8 win.

This is not the nicest edited video but I love the camera shots from field level to give an idea of the quickness these teams played with and the capacity crowd at Haywood Field.

 

Belfry would handle Knoxville Catholic the next week. Catholic would go on to win the Tennessee 4A State Title and featured three eventual All-Americans on their roster and over 7 different eventual D-1 signees.

 

Belfry would end the year as one of the top ranked Small Schools in the Country by Maxpreps.

Man, Belfry has a nice stadium.

@ATLCat thanks for posting that video, I've never seen it before. I really like that perspective from field level. And that 2015 team was very fun to watch.
