September 2, 20188 yr Author It did 2 years ago though. Yeah and the same scenario played out last year just with Alabama getting in over a 2 loss champ... Just saying the committee job is putting the best 4 teams. They have proven that they decide who the 4 best teams are then find criteria to fit those opinions. If OSU has 1 loss this year they will in all likelihood be in the playoff. That same criteria applies for Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Penn St, Michigan State, and after last night Notre Dame. To suggest anything other than that is crazy.
