Northern dominated this game. Was very shocked.

Now I know why there was a Corbin parent at the Northern scrimmage filming that Northern coaches made leave.

If the parent paid admission to get it, the cant make them leave just because they were filming.

There was no cost.

Its the ETHICS of it.

Im sure teams trade film. No need for the Corbin parent to drive there to film. In baseball thats called Bush League

At the middle school level there are not any film trade rules. In fact Id say 50% or more of the teams dont even film their games. Hudl is changing that some, if their High School team lets their middle school team use their account. However high school teams working with their middle school teams for anything isnt a common theme in KY.

How are Middle School teams already playing and Varsity is over a week out???

Im sure that as successful as both Northern and corbin are both have hudl.

Doesnt MS now go by the KHSAA rules which would include trading film?

MS football is over pretty quick so everyone can chase their NBA dreams in MS.

Not as far is film is concerned.

Middle school season starts early (roughly 2 weeks ahead of the HS Season, which is basically the 7on7 season of high school taken out as middle school does 7on7 in May and June), and ends Regular season end of September - First of October, and playoffs by last week of the regular season for High School . So in reality Middle school week 1, is the first week High Schools do scrimmages. Same as most other Middle school schedules in other sports.

Most Middle School AD's want football done by Oct 15th so they can transition to basketball.

I see nothing wrong with filming middle school sports at any time.

Even if a parent of another team you play is doing it to use for scouting?

Who cares. Let them scout. Aren't coaches from the other team welcome to attend games and scout if they choose?

When was this game played?

Tuesday the 7th I think.

Id say they were after Boyle film they are already very familiar with Northern
