Why all the forfeits

 

I don't know why Covington Holy Cross forfeited two varsity games today after playing two varsity games yesterday evening (beat Dunbar 38-37 and lost to Tates Creek 77-44).

The biggest takeaway for me so far has been Tates Creek. They've struggled in recent years. Those scores are impressive (I know it's summer, but still).

"Clinton County coach Todd Messer and guard Jackson Harlan tell the @bgdailynews that Harlan has committed to WKU in the Class of 2019.

Harlan, 6-foot-5, averaged 26.4 ppg last year for the Bulldogs. Went off last week at WKU's team camp and earned a scholarship offer."

 

Clinton County is currently playing in the boys' summer state tournament.
